    Hello,

Does anybody knows what Toneprint is doing at startup ?

    1. it takes several minutes to properly starts, and it occupy a large space of my (poor) internet bandwith.

    2. it takes few seconds if I'm not connected on the internet.

    thanks

      Hi @FAR

It's syncing / checking for new / updating the toneprints in the device with the ones in the TC servers. If you're not connected to the internet, it'll start faster because it'll just use the ones it finds in the device you're using.

then it will be nice to have an option about it in the setting of toneprint.

    Hi

The quick start guide says to only use TC power supply, but I wanted to see if it is safe to power the Plethora with my Pedaltrain Volto, it's the original version with 2000ma max output and the Plethora requires >600ma, center negative which the Volto is.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I've got a vortex flanger / downloaded the toneprint app / read the documentation but all I can do is download other people patches to my pedal. The "editor" does not allow me to edit...

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi guys - sorry if this has been said already but the search ion here is ... well...

I have a vortex flanger but I need to stop the flange from "boosting" under 200hz as it then hits the fundamental frequencies on my bass / eq / pa setup.

I've seen youtube video with artists where TC have adjusted the settings and I thought the editor might allow me to do this, The editor sees my pedal, it reads the serial no and allows me to download "artist settings" to the pedal but I can't see any of the options in the PDF documentatation for the editor.

How do I actually get to edit settings??

    Thanks

      Hi,

Check that you're on the "templates" tab, rather than "library", then pick a starting template and look for the pencil icon on the top right:

Newbee here. Just got a BH 550 and was wondering if there are any tone prints that emulate a wa wa pedal?  Thanks...

No,  that is not possible unfortunately and  the only frequency based FX available for the Bass amps are some Helix Phaser and Viscous Vibe Toneprints, But they cannot substiture a real Wah Wah  effect with dynamic control over the filter cutoff frequency. Ay external wahedal will work great in front of the BG though and will sound awesome combined with the available compressor and drive toneprints for your BH 550.

I just got my Plethora X5. It desperately needs a manual. Or online videos. I had to stumble upon the Bluetooth menu to get my iPad connected. It is not that intuitive.

    Thanks.

My Plethora is making subtle but weird filter effect like noises on a distortet amp (and you can only hear it on the higher notes), if its in buffered bypass mode. It makes no difference, if in front or in loop of the amp. I testet it with different guitars, amps, power supplys and even wall outlets. If i swicth to true bypass, its gone... But i can switch to true bypass only if the insert loop of the plethora is not connected. If the amp (or distortion pedal) is in the insert, i can switch to true bypass, but i hear no click, the noise is there and you cann still hear feedbacks of the delay fading out (so its not possible to swicth to true bypass). Is something wrong with my unit or did anyone else experience simular issues?

    Hi Guys.

I have Plethora x5 latest firmware 1.1.43. I don't know how to add new custom boards. There are 18 factory ones. How can I add new one in Tone Print editor? There are blank slots and I cannot figure it how to do that. I can just rename and move 18 of them... What about adding new ones?

I was also trying to add my new board on Plethora itself (when not connected to my iMac and Tone Print editor): flipped to edit mode and than flipped board toggle switch and then on the right screen there appeared only 3 options: delete, cancel and clear. Where can I find funciot "add new board"???

    Help needed!

      Hi,

For the moment, you have to add the board from the pedal itself - to create the new boards, you need to flip the switch UP instead of down

      Thank you. It works.

Is there any way to download 18 factory boards? I have deleted a few boards by accident.

      Kind regadrs.

At this point, probably only with a factory reset (Edit mode > Settings > Global > Service > Factory Reset)...

      Thanks.

I will try it out... After the factory reset is done, would I have to do the firmware update again?

      Kind regards.

Curious to know how close you might be able to get to a tremolo sound with a FlashbackX4? Suggestions?

    Thanks!

Not really. you can though  try to use the Through Zero Flanger of the Modulation block as it will cacnel the signal at zero-crossing(like a real Tape reel Flanger would) and though gives a tremolo kind of modulation that can be used on the delay repeats. Setting the delaytime and feedback to minimum values and can help you to get a modulation only effect without the audible repeats of the delay.  You can use eg the ChorusOnly template as a starting point and then change effect type to TZ flanger and experiment with the settings.

This  programming method is also used for the Hall of Fame 2 "TreMVerb" templates but works also better on a constant reverb tail that is modulated over time than on the wet delay repeats..

      Cheers,

      Mike
