The Behringer Xenyx 302 USB Mixer only supplies 15V instead of 48V of phantom power. Would that be enough to power the Mic Booster CT1?
Hello Brian, welcome to the community.
According to the specifications, the CT1 requires 48V phantom power. You could use an external phantom power supply between the CT1 and the mixer.
You would need a device such as the Behringer PS400
Ok, using the Behringer PS400 I would insert into the mixer using a 6.3 jack and not the xlr in order to bypass the automaticly provided 15v phantom, correct? Or it doesn't matter?
Need Help
First, can't update DN32-WSG firmware true Soungrid studio. In Multirack it finds soundgrid as a audio device and I can choose channels put audio does not go trough. In mixer routing is in Card, local and in input it is Card. Console have a latest firmaware. All the waves apps are updated.

Hi @Raato666 ,
Please could you advise how you are connecting to the DN32-WSG from your MAC? What is the OS version. Looking at your picture, it appears that you are using a USB device possibly. Maybe a USB to LAN Port converter? Did you run Waves Central and install and activate, and then Soundgrid Studio which installs the latest software. Can you take a look at the excellent video below as see if you have missed a step. It also shows how to patch the X32. What are the LEDs doing around the RJ45 connector on the card. They should be lit or flashing. Do you have a Windows computer by any chance or an older MAC with a lan pot built in that you can test the set up? In the top right hand corner of the X32, where it shows devices connected, are there two small green boxes one above the other. The top box showing that the clock is good and the bottom showing the waves connection is good? If neither of those are green then you have a connection issue. Unfortunately if it is a problem with computer / software set up, then you will need to contact Waves Support. Did you also put in a support ticket to us as I answered a very similar question earlier this morning?

There are also a number of other videos by the same person regarding the waves card which may be worth taking a look at as they also include how to patch audio.
Hi Nigel67
This is my set up and I wanting to record the 32 channels. I can see the sounds off the board going into logic, but when I record them it sounds like a alien trying to communicate with me.
It sounds like you have a sample rate mismatch. Set both Logic and the DN9630 (and the mixer) to 48 kHz.
Thanks for replying...It all is...switch on 48K on DN9630...midas is set to 48k and so is logic...I've checked multiple times
My first thought of alien communication was a samples played at the wrong rate. You are getting some sort of signal from the DN9630 though? Hmm...
Hi,
Have tested using the CP8000 but as it doesn't use a rotary encoder, it will not work safely for mixing volumes. Due to the volume jumping to the position on the volume know when you change buttons.
Is there a way to include a rotary encoder in system? or would I have to go to rs232?
Thanks,
Stephen
It seems that DM KONTROL misidentifies DM8000 as DM8500 and compatible erorr is displayed on Device Connect windows.
Clicking on the open control surface displays an error message. DM KONTROL seems to recognize DM8000 as DM8500.
However, the detail display shows DM8000. How can this be solved?
Could you let me know is there DM KONTROL and DM801 manuals?
The DM KONTROL have help. However, nothing happens when I click the contents tab in help.
Also, I can't find a place to download the manual.
Already descontinure this product or company will bankrupt?
Hi I cannot get the software that is available from klark techniks website to install any ideas
Hi there.
Was just using the DN9650+KTDANTE64 for the first time in conjunction with a Behringer Wing to bridge it into a Dante network.
Just a simple question, as I find it a bit confusing: I noticed that from each AES50 cable only the first 24 channels have been mapped to Dante. I did route additional channels on the Wing on the first AES50 output, but they just did not arrive in Dante. I could not find any "routing" or "patch" menu that would change this behaviour. System was running at 48 kHz all the way.
Is this just a hard limitation of the KTDANTE64, or some weird behaviour with the new Wing? Did I miss some option to change that behaviour? Having to use two AES50 ports for the amount of channels that a single AES50 port could handle worked this time as we only had a DL32 attached on the console, thus, two free ports available. In the future I will definitely add a Dante AoIP module to my personal Wing though.
If you only get 24 channels then this suggests that the dn9650 operates at 96k.
Are you using the dn9650 as the master clock and set to 48k. If not, then it is my understanding that it will up-sample to 96k.
Nope, all settings were at 48K, the AES clock was the master clock (coming from the wing, running at 48K).
Hey,
I am not sure if the KT9650 is natively 96k, but what i can do is i will check if 9652 is able to do this solution.
Meaning to say AES50 card and Dante card on 9652.
I am waiting for my AES50 card to arrive and i will try this out if it works ok?
Hope to share more and learn more with you guys.
Cheers!
