When I press the arp button and hold down a key, it plays the note once and not again. Hold down two keys or put the arpeggiator pattern into the multiple octave ones and it plays along happily. Anyone know won't it play a single note arp? I'm using it slaved to tempo via midi from pro tools but makes no differenece whether it's playing or not or if I take the tempo from the crave's own clock. Thanks

Solved! firmware update from 1.05 to 1.1.1 fixed the issue and it now plays single note arps

I just got a TD-3 and I'm having a strange issue. While playing it will suddenly let out bursts of noise and the VCO will go out of tune for a short bit. And at other times the VCO will go up and down in tune within about a half step for about 1 to 5 seconds. This happens randomly but seems more frequent if I am adjusting any of the knobs. It even does this when I've let the unit warm up for plenty of time. Is there a calibration issue or is my unit a dud?

    Hello.

When can I expect a full owner's manual, in addition to the available Quick Start manual?

There is obviously more functionality in the TD-3 that is not covered in the Quick Start.

    Thanks.

      Hello everybody

I would like to agree with @rbwilliams  question for a complete user manual.

And please the TD-3 Operation section in the manual in German language.

      Thank you

Synth Tool is displaying no device detected, but my TD-3 is showing up in my computer devices. Using the newest one, v.2.3.4. Any advice is appreciated.

I am running windows7 though, does anyone have an older version of Synth Tool? Maybe that would work on my system.

My impression for a RD-78 gear. Nostalgia is the key word. This is concept art, to determine the visual style. Things that are missing or things that seem to be wrong or overkill on this design are up to the Behringer engineers ?

Can the pedal input accept voltage from a sequencer or LFO, if so is it the standard 0 to 5V.

I've see people use it this way on the Korg Odyssey and wondered if the Behringer was the same.

The pedal input isn't well documented, so I had to run some experiments.  The simple answer to your question is yes, you can run CV voltages into the pedal input, but you may not get exactly what you want.  There seems to be a pullup resistor to 15V on this input, and turning on the pedal switches for OSC2 and the Filter loads this down, resulting in about 10.5V.  Turning up the sliders loads it down further, and the voltage drops to about 8V.  So there are voltage divider effects in play, and that affects whatever you add to it.  The higher the output impedance of your controller (I tried the ENV and LFO outputs from a MicroBrute), the more level shift you get, which means the base level pitch or cutoff will rise the more you raise the sensitivity sliders.  This is annoying because you have compensate the tuning of OSC2 as you increase the slider amount when you're not using sync mode.

    Hey all,

I just got my TD-3 SR yesterday and I'm in love, but having a little difficulty with the CV/Trigger sync.

I'm trying to sync the TD-3 with the PO32 Tonic drum machine (and PO33 eventually) using the Korg Synckontrol app as the master clock, sent through a LMNTL 1 to 5 splitter hub using 3.5mm TS patch cables. The app syncs perfectly with the PO32 sending clock and run/stop info, but the TD3 doesn't respond to it at all. I have the TD3 set to TRIG / 2ppq, and I tried it with multitrigger mode on and off. I am pretty new to CV clocks (and cv in general) so I wonder if I'm ignoring some basic step, or obvious solution. Would really love to hear this thing with a drum machine. I have tried bypassing the splitter and sending the ipad signal straight into the TD3 but that doesn't seem to make any difference. Thanks for reading, and thanks to Behringer for making such an incredible product.

I don't have your devices, but i suspect the following:

your sync signal is an pseudo audio (phone out) signal. Voltage Range is 0.77V to 2.2V peak2peak or something like that. TD3 need 2.5V  minimum trigger voltage. Presumably Korg Toys are made to sync with pseudo audio-sync signals  with low voltage. An Oscilliscop would confirm it.

No Idea for solderfree solution... , except you sync your app with a PC and use sync via midi.

    Hi,

Received the synth this week and have firmware 1.1.0-23f. I noticed after a google search there is a 1.1.2 firmware.

How do i get this and perform the update?

There is also a second issue with the Deepmind App 1.05 on PC, I can see the D12 in the Input and Output devices but it will not connect even after pressing Resync. Device ID is set to 1

MIDI comms over USB and standard Midi connections via Mio2 interface seem fine with playing from a keyboard.

Not sure if you have updated, but go to Behringer.com -> downloads-> select Deepmind12d ->dL the firmware info file and follow the directions.

I did manage to get the firmware updated after googling for it, but I've sent the synth back now to thomann for a refund as the outputs where too noisy. I'll get another maybe in the future as it is a lovely synth, but I've ordered a Hydrasynth now.
