    Hi,

I've noticed my Poly-D output is well below other synths (15dB less than the Minimoog and 12dB less than my Prophet 6) high means I have to crank up a preamp to get a decent signal level.  I think this is exasperating clicks on note in and 'bumps' on note off.  Has anyone else experienced a low level, or could mine have an issue.  I'm uploading some comparisons and demos to my YouTube channel (Starskycarr) and don't want to do it a disservice if I've an issue with my unit.  Cheers

Hi, I di ask you some quests. on your channel just awhile ago in regard the Poly D with LogicX. Firstly I was surprise that the midi cc is very limited compare to my Subsequent 37, secondly this volume thang throwed me off... I have tried to feedback from headphones output back into ext source, you gain a some grit and "headroom v."  but iI didn't like the results of the affected sound. Hope this can help you.

Also a simple fat [email protected]#ss bass line seems to be hard to get it right I have to work those knobs (Filters,ENVps,Cut Off +Res.) like crazy but the Poly D spit out a very weak sound and timbre.) I guess my ears are accustom to Moog, both the G.M & Subsequent 37. The Poly D It's already in the box for a refund. Sorry I tried but I'm not into it. Enjoy yours. Alexia.

So, my thought was that if you are going to clone a CR-78, you need to keep in that what made the instrument what it is. Keep the quirky pattern presets in one pattern bank, but double the functionality by making it a step sequencer. Add 3 more pattern banks with 16xA+B custom presets each. Lose the voice-canceling buttons, but put in a dedicated level slider per voice. Please keep the fade & autofill! Put in a tune and a decay knob, which works their magic on the selected instrument. So you can change the parameters of each instrument one by one. Metal case with wooden panels wood be nice but a cheaper plastic case would work just as good for me.

Please, let me know what you think of this concept BEHRINGER 78-V.png

@Freeediee Hard to see it all but my guess is a strain relief for a power adapter cord?

Thought about that. It could be. So that it doesn't unplug if you move it accidentally?

      thanks for the answer.

    Hi everybody,
Behringer's DeepMind is a wonderful synth, truly incredible with a very affordable price.
But it has just one simple flaw: you cannot change the destination of the SysEx files.

Let's explain better: if you download a wonderful patch made by one of those incredible synth maniacs outside there on the Internet you'll be forced to install it on the BANK and NUMBER (the position) which the author decided. If a moving pad has been worked on position A-1, just to make an example, you'll have to overwrite the A-1 position on your synth but it's a pity you'll have to remove that wonderful lead patch you have right there, isn't it?
DeepChanger will fix this problem, just follow the user interface: load a patch, set a new patch file to be created, decide the new bank and number, press Return and... voilà, a new patch file with the exact specifications of the previous one except for the destination.
If you want you can also change the default location of an entire bank, maybe one of those wonderful ones you can buy online. The procedure is identical.

The programs works on Windows (from Win7) and MacOSX (from 10.7.5 Lion and above) and Linux: it's a 32 bit application because it's pretty useless to make a 64bit one in this case.
If you want to make a donation (it doesn't hurt so much, you know...) you can send a little money clicking here but you'll always be able to download it for FREE.

You can download the executable on this page.

Nice to see the auto select for midi clock back in 2.3.3, but without a firmware update you can't select it

Is this an oversight or have they released too many products to keep up with

P.S. bring back the clock divider.

I recently learned that the ms101 and Odyssey have a very similar Sequencer (identical?!).

So they also crapped that feature out from the Odyssey? Is that using the Tempo-Knob only or or With holding Pattern/Bank? On Crave it is Tempo-Knob only (up to FW 1.0.6) and this was leading to folks moaning and poking the support as it seems because you can easy mess your timing accidentally So I wonder why they don't implement it like on Odyssey or MS101...

IIRC just the tempo slider, its crazy that we are now stuck with just 16th note arps

Hi, I am sure, Ulli Behringer is interested in every BUG in a TD3.

i think he will never know - due to this non working ticket system.

    1. The slide function is not accessable via midi control.

    2. Slide speed is 4 times faster than with a tb-303 or any other clone in the world.TD3_vsTB03_CV_slide.png

We need a firmware update. AND A FEEDBACK THAT YOU HEAR IT.

they dont hear, and they dont want to hear. I will return the td-3..

besides the slide behaviour is the smallest of the bugs..

no1 is that writing of linked patterns is not working.. essentially crippeling the device to a one bar motiv only device.. inferior to the original 303, that does 4 bar motivs, and all good clones that do even 8 bars.. What is especially important on real time tap input, since this alows longer recording times and long held notes..

and just too add a few more.. in case i am wrong and they really have a look here.. in this most deserted forum on the globe..

      no2 heavy bug)

wrong handling of the pitch memory..

On the original 303 each bank shares a pitch memory.. each pattern has its own start within the pitch memory.. when the number of pitches is exceeded by the time infos, the rest if the pitch buffer is used.. parts of neighboring patterns.. That results in musical usefull results.. as longer you write one bank as more likely all pitches fit harmonical. even your own style gets visible in the additional pitches used. Thats part of the musical ghost of the 303.. the td-3 just inserts low c notes in any case it dont knows what pitch to use.. thats unmusical programming that leads in 100% of the cases to unmusical results, that need manual edit/ repair. A big workflow killer, that makes stage writing too risky to be performed.

3.2) transpose flags of pitch memory get lost when leaving write without doing a time write/edit routine

      4) pattern transpose not working when leaving write mode without stopping

      5) tap write in external sync bug

I love playing duophonic lines on the Odyssey but hate that I can't record them.

Could the sequencer be updated to offer this?

The manuel states that 18. global commands Arp Send to MIDI 0-1 Enables transmission of arpeggiator output to MIDI out (both USB and physical MIDI). how do i get this to work? I can't find the enable menu anywhere!

I was hoping i could use the arpeggiator for my other synths any help would be appreciated
