Hey Behringer! I love your "D" synth -but shipping it with uncalibrated oscillators ( -and forcing customers to calibrate them their selves -thereby risking voiding their warranty ) really sucks! I'd have no problem paying a little extra ( -say adding $30.00 to the suggetsed retail price of the "D" ) to get a "D" with factory-calibrated oscillators. I recently bought a "D" but couldn't abide it's "drifty" oscillators. So I sent it back to the dealer. If you start shipping your "D's" with calibrated ( -in tune ) oscillators I'd consider buying another one ( -even if you have to raise the price $30.00 or so ).

Hi, I'd like to ask the tech team for a solution for the vanished clock divider function on the Tempo knob (was there in firmware 1.06, I didn't upgrade ever since).

As suggested by user Lau Lindqvist on the Facebook Crave community page, an option to turn the Tempo-knob Clock Divider function on or off would be desirable (set to off by default in new Craves).

    We ask.

I'm on 1.05 and not gonna update to 1.09, however I can upgrade to 1.09 then via sysex downgrade to 1.06. But are the ghost notes issue gone in 1.06?

I haven't tried for myself, but as I understood from the Facebook Crave group, it's still there in 1.06. So it's either ghost notes, OR vanished "live" clock divider feature.

So nobody with a 1.06 sysex FW file? I start NOT to care if behringer likes this or not...

I am begining to think that I have been sold an old stock instrument. Am I right to assume that the date code is the first four numbers of the serial number ?  i.e S1707 would be July 2017 ?

@BluePuma I believe that is the case.

Thanks Gary that's what I was afraid of. I bought from Amazon last November and thought the packaging was a bit duff at the time.

@BluePuma Your warranty should kick in with your purchase date so in that regard you should be covered. Some Amazon returns are good for up to 90 days too, worth checking to get a replacement. They seem eager to please these days-esp if you request a replacement as opposed to $ back. Good luck.

Believe it or not i just bought a 12D from Thomann with the same starting code S1707. It seems fine except the firmware is not the latest and I cant find out where to update it. I reckon this must have just been sitting in the Thomann warehouse for over 2 years :/

Well, I ordered a new DeepMind 6 from Thomann last month. I asked them to let me have the serial numbers of their current stock before I purchased. I was told they did not have that information on the purchasing system, but their last delivery from Behringer was on the 19th of October 2019. I thought fair enough must be new stock. When my (new) synth arrived, it was also an S1707 model ! However, it was in its full and unopened packaging and has been working fine. Currently awaiting the arrival of an RD-8

    Just found this...

    https://303patterns.com/

seems really cool and useful tool , as it can read out the TD-3 patterns and visualizes them in a piano editor style window.

After hearing some online "demos" of Behringer's ( new ) "PRO-1" Synthesizer we're considering it for a "starring role" in "The Synthesist".

( https://locallegendfilms.jimdo.com/upcoming-projects-1/ *Scroll down to find it ).

"The Synthesist" is a new sci-fi thriller about a synthesist/ sound-designer who becomes involved in a dangerous conspiracy. Not only will the "PRO-1" serve as the movie's primary "onscreen prop" -we hope to also use it to score the movie's soundtrack ( -and use it to provide many of the movie's sound-effects ). "The Synthesist" will, in-essence, be a feature-length "demo" of the PRO-1's sonic capabilities ( -wrapped inside a rivetting sci-fi movie ). "The Synthesist" is slated to start production in 2020. If you're a sci-fi fan or a fan of Behringer synths -check out the link above for more details!

Are there any Behringer Technicians that moderate or monitor the forums?

I don't think this place needs moderation. Things are impossible to find and simply disappear. Moderation takes care of itself.

    Hi everybody,
Behringer's DeepMind is a wonderful synth, truly incredible with a very affordable price.
But it has just one simple flaw: you cannot change the destination of the SysEx files.

Let's explain better: if you download a wonderful patch made by one of those incredible synth maniacs outside there on the Internet you'll be forced to install it on the BANK and NUMBER (the position) which the author decided. If a moving pad has been worked on position A-1, just to make an example, you'll have to overwrite the A-1 position on your synth but it's a pity you'll have to remove that wonderful lead patch you have right there, isn't it?
DeepChanger will fix this problem, just follow the user interface: load a patch, set a new patch file to be created, decide the new bank and number, press Return and... voilà, a new patch file with the exact specifications of the previous one except for the destination.
If you want you can also change the default location of an entire bank, maybe one of those wonderful ones you can buy online. The procedure is identical.

The programs works on Windows (from Win7) and MacOSX (from 10.7.5 Lion and above) and Linux: it's a 32 bit application because it's pretty useless to make a 64bit one in this case.
If you want to make a donation (it doesn't hurt so much, you know...) you can send a little money clicking here but you'll always be able to download it for FREE.

You can download the executable on this page.

Hi everyone, has anyone been able to raise a support ticket on the Behringer care portal? I keep getting mandatory fields that are not available for entry which means I cannot submit a ticket.

    Thanks, M

Hello Matthew, welcome to the community.

There have been other reports of recent problems with the Care ticket system. I shall ask @AlexLane if he can investigate.

      Hi @matthewling ,

I have reported the issues to the dev team, hopefully this will be solved today. They are looking into it now.

I did some testing and some forms are coming back with errors, I noticed one thing on the drop down menu issue. Once I choose brand, it sometimes takes a little time before the drop down menu loads. Might be worth trying again and giving it a little time for the menu to load.

I will report this problem too, hopefully it can be made faster.

Big Crave Team 1.09 solved pwm glitches but still no clockdivider time knob in external clock, it is possible to implement a function in the synth tool to have an attenuator for the Accent (303 style) without using VC Mix and with higher voltage, question but the accent acts only on VCA and VCF? can't you make it work even on VCF MOD like in the TB303 / TD3? Thanks Nicola

The tempo knob clock dividing function is so important!

Behringer please put it back in. At least as an option.

      Hello,

I have the same problem. Tempo clock divider is really necessary. Couldn't open a ticket for Behringer. Hopefully someone is reading this messages.

      Thanks in advance.
