Hi guys, how do I view the remaining of my Aux buses on XTouch? I am able to see Aux 1-8, but can’t view the remaining Auxes. I’ve tried the navigation buttons, not working.

Are you connected to an X32 or X-air (or Midas equivalent) mixer?

Or are you connected to a DAW? If so, which one?

    Hi,

I remember seeing somewhere you can switch the x touch between using it as a mixer controller (XR18) and a DAW controller. But I don't remember and can't find it...

Is this possible? I work with ableton live and use the XR18 as audio interface. I need control both over the interface and ableton live, and it would be awesome to do this with 1 controller!

    thanks

Yes. Hold down Select on channel 1 as you power up. Then choose Xctl/MC (and the networking mode or MIDI DIN connection to the XR18).

Press the SMPTE/Beats button to switch between XR18 and DAW.

Okay just to clarify my finding using Samplitude 4 Pro.

I have two X Touch controllers running with Samplitude 4, according to the Magic help file the second controller must be a signed to Mackie XT  this is not correct. By trial and error the second controller must be a signed to Mackie Alternate Scale. Once a signed you will see two midi assignments for the X Touch. In my configuration the top is the master he is 1-8 and the bottom is the slave 9-16. Also please remember that when you open Samplitude you will need to always asign the second unit if you are using more than 8 tracks. Samitude does not save the config automatically, but this only takes a few second to setup so there no hardship. All fuctions work perfectly in sync and you can add up to for units if required.

@KenMartin I have the same issue but how can I assign tasks to the Function Buttons? Also the Automation buttons are working in opposite tasks, for example, if Latch button is pressed, it will activate Write task.

is there anything I’m not doing right in the setups?

    Hello,

Been trying for weeks now to get the X-Touch Mini controller to work with Reaper. Reaper sees it in the Midi devices list. It is set to Control only. In the Control/OSC/web section I have added a Mackie Control Universal and selected the X-Touch Mini as the input and output. I have created a new channel with the ReaControlMidi plugin on it. Beyond that I don't know what to do. On Mac OS 10.13.6.

      Hi Mikel ( @soundcheck ),

Welcome to the community.  When you extracted the X-Touch Editor zip archive a folder called "default layer" should have been created.  In that folder is "compact" and "mini". In the "mini" folder there are two files called LayerA.bin and LayerB.bin.  Load these presets into the X-Touch Mini using the X-Touch Editor. This will restore the factory defaults.

Hi All, I've been a Behringer fan and user for years and stepped up to buying the x-Touch. Cubase Pro 10 recognizes the x-Touch in all three aspects of Studio setup (see images) but nothing works - actions in cubase don't register in x-touch, and moving sliders in x-touch have no effect in Cubase:

    Thank you, b

Hi... I don't know if it will help you but I had to put my XTouch on Mackie Control (MC) setting... I found that HUI does not work...

You do this by holding the channel 1 select button down while you power on the device... then dial the first dial to MC... then dial the second dial to USB...

Then you press the select button again to reset the XTouch...

      Hope this helps...

      Hi,

beside Kingurus answer you also have to tell Cubase, that you're using a Mackie Control Unit. Do this in the studio setup (see your first screenshot). Add a new controller by pressing the little plus-symbol in the upper left corner of the window. Be aware that you add a Mackie control unit and that your device is turned on. On the  right side of this screen select x-touch as midi in and out device. Unselect x-touch as midi device on the other control devices (your 2nd and 3rd screenshot) or simply delete these controls as you don't need them really. Click apply, your x-touch should work now.

      Greetings

    Hi Guys,

Loving my X Touch and wanting to connect some footswitches but can't find any info on what is compatible.

I have a couple of non-latching switches, but they don't seem to be working...

    Any advice?

What are you controlling with the XTouch? I believe the footswitch and expression inputs only work in MC and HUI modes - controlling a DAW. The footswitches would normally be momentary (non-latching).
