Got my Crave a few hours ago and i´m experiencing ghost trigs on rest steps.

Means even if you do a pattern with only rest steps, you get tiny trigs which trigger the envelope.

Makes the sequencer useless for programming the simplest patterns.

On top the Mix (Noise / External Audio) is bleeding into the signal path. Both, external audio an noise will be in the signal path slightly, even when turned of.

I´m on 1.0.6 and somehow i think this could be solved though firmware ...

I´ve done a ticket to get a proper answer for this trig issue.

I'm in the exact same situation!

Ghost triggers under 1.06 on the rest steps. I have two Craves, both have the same issue.

      Please help!

      Hi there,

I reported that as bug already, although I returned my Crave yesterday.

You should do that too, since lowering decay time decreases the effect as Eduard said in the facebook group.

So, my thought was that if you are going to clone a CR-78, you need to keep in that what made the instrument what it is. Keep the quirky pattern presets in one pattern bank, but double the functionality by making it a step sequencer. Add 3 more pattern banks with 16xA+B custom presets each. Lose the voice-canceling buttons, but put in a dedicated level slider per voice. Please keep the fade & autofill! Put in a tune and a decay knob, which works their magic on the selected instrument. So you can change the parameters of each instrument one by one. Metal case with wooden panels wood be nice but a cheaper plastic case would work just as good for me.

Please, let me know what you think of this concept BEHRINGER 78-V.png

Hey- Does anyone know if the sequencer in the latest SynthTool works with the CRAVE?

Yes. Just make sure the firmware is up to date.

    Korg nunca me falló.
Si, una maquina maravillosa, yo no me merecía esto.

Vaya metida de pata tan grande, , podria haber comprado un korg, o roland , o sequential...
Vale, se me pasará... pero ahora estoy muy triste, no tengo pasta para un prophet.

    Hello all,

I'm relatively new to synths, and I'm trying to learn from a very basic intro level. Been happily lost for hours this past week since the Odyssey arrived.

I'm not sure if I've experienced an issue with the Odyssey or my lack of knowledge. When I switch the Audio to LF Keyboard Off, I get pulsed clicks and find it difficult to generate a tone. From the manual, 'adust using the VCO-1 frequency faders'. I just can't seem to get rid of the clicks even if I manage, with luck, to generate a tone.

Is this just part of what's to be found at these frequencies, and something to play around with?

Very grateful for any info or knowledge shared, as basic as you like. Thanks, Gerrard

When VCO 1 is in LF mode (low frequency) it's acting like an LFO, so it will only produce very slow clicking - it's not meant to be heard in isolation but used as a modulation source.

If you're really new to the synth this might prove useful.  It's a walkthrough of the Odyssey for beginners I made a couple of months ago.  I can't ost the lionk but if you google starsky carr ARP ODYSSEY:Tutorial and Demo you should be able to find it.

      Hope that helps

I am able to select MIDI USB, but it obviously does not update Crave. The Midi Start Clock event will start the internal sequencer, but the tempo remains out of sync. If I go to another tab and back to General or restart the Synth Tool, it defaults back to Internal. I have no issues with the RD-8 or TD-3. They work as expected.

I somehow closed the topic before describing my issue.  I want to enable the pormamento but I can't figure out how.  I also want to adjust the range of the pitch wheel, but I can't find any information on how that's done either.

Can someone point me to documentation or a tutorial that shows how to do these things?

I have the DM12 communicating with the iPad app (more on that in another post). Ilike the fact that in the Preset Manager the Category button  allows you to rename the User category. This can be done with a long press of the Category name (to the left of the "Favorites" select icon). On the DM12, the edited Category name is correctly displayed below the Bank/Patch number. But when yo go to the "write" function on the DM12 and select the category function and scroll away from and back to the edited Category name it comes up with a a potion of the new name and portions of the Category name from either side of it. If I populate the category name with as many letters as possible (it appears to default to 7) then the edited Category displays correctly when scrolling to it from the DM12 "Write" function page. Wonky!

I have juste received the pro 1 but I still can't get any sound out of it.

I already own a neutron so both are side by side and their midi settings are the same (channel 16)

I use an arturia keystep as master keyboard.

neutron is working nicely but when I'm plugging the audio out of the pro 1 instead of the neutron I don't get anything. I don't even know if the the pro 1 is getting my midi as there is no led for that purpose like on the neutron.

Is there something I missed ?

Also it seems there is no updater tool for the pro one on the support downloading page.

    Thank you for any hint.

There is a Gate Led that flashes when it is recieving notes. If you use midi, make shure the repeat/ext knob is in the "normal" position.

If you flip the drone switch to "drone" position (up), the synth will continuously make noise, regardless of whether it's getting any note triggers over MIDI. Good for testing. Make sure the osc levels are up, filter is open.
