    Hi,

I've noticed my Poly-D output is well below other synths (15dB less than the Minimoog and 12dB less than my Prophet 6) high means I have to crank up a preamp to get a decent signal level.  I think this is exasperating clicks on note in and 'bumps' on note off.  Has anyone else experienced a low level, or could mine have an issue.  I'm uploading some comparisons and demos to my YouTube channel (Starskycarr) and don't want to do it a disservice if I've an issue with my unit.  Cheers

Hi, I di ask you some quests. on your channel just awhile ago in regard the Poly D with LogicX. Firstly I was surprise that the midi cc is very limited compare to my Subsequent 37, secondly this volume thang throwed me off... I have tried to feedback from headphones output back into ext source, you gain a some grit and "headroom v."  but iI didn't like the results of the affected sound. Hope this can help you.

Also a simple fat [email protected]#ss bass line seems to be hard to get it right I have to work those knobs (Filters,ENVps,Cut Off +Res.) like crazy but the Poly D spit out a very weak sound and timbre.) I guess my ears are accustom to Moog, both the G.M & Subsequent 37. The Poly D It's already in the box for a refund. Sorry I tried but I'm not into it. Enjoy yours. Alexia.

Hi, have just received this wonderful synth and am enjoying it so much. Can anyone tell me if there is anyway to select the clock source on the hardware itself? Not sure if I've missed something in the manual (which could do with a little bit more explanation in some places). Alternatively, does the MS1 just respond to whatever is available, and default to the internal clock no signals are being received from anywhere else?

@UliBehringer If there isn't anyway to control where the clock comes from, a software update so that we could use a combination of 'shift' and another button or knob to make the choice would be great.

Hi, I was trying lot of ways, but still don't know.

How to sync LFO to external MIDI clock, or at least sequencer tempo on Behringer Crave?

      Hi Keyos,

AFAIK, you can´t sync the LFO. However, you can use the "assign" patch point as a second LFO. See page 41 in the quick start guide.

When I backup my DeepMind patches to my computer, the load them into the DeepMind, all patches "pitch bend range" change to -22 and +22. Others have complained about this. What is the solution?

I have the same problem, I think both the Ipad and the Windows app are broken as far as saving and importing presets (tried with MidiOX and all worked flawlessy1).

There are a lot of tutorial for using MidiOX and it's even explained in the manual so you should be pretty much set! Only downside is that if you backup a whole bank (say bank B) you always need to restore the bank on bank B with Sysex importing!

I know this reply is a bit late, but the latest 1.0.5 application version DOES fix that issue, which is a big relief!  Thanks to the software folks at Behringer.

    Hey all,

I just got my TD-3 SR yesterday and I'm in love, but having a little difficulty with the CV/Trigger sync.

I'm trying to sync the TD-3 with the PO32 Tonic drum machine (and PO33 eventually) using the Korg Synckontrol app as the master clock, sent through a LMNTL 1 to 5 splitter hub using 3.5mm TS patch cables. The app syncs perfectly with the PO32 sending clock and run/stop info, but the TD3 doesn't respond to it at all. I have the TD3 set to TRIG / 2ppq, and I tried it with multitrigger mode on and off. I am pretty new to CV clocks (and cv in general) so I wonder if I'm ignoring some basic step, or obvious solution. Would really love to hear this thing with a drum machine. I have tried bypassing the splitter and sending the ipad signal straight into the TD3 but that doesn't seem to make any difference. Thanks for reading, and thanks to Behringer for making such an incredible product.

I don't have your devices, but i suspect the following:

your sync signal is an pseudo audio (phone out) signal. Voltage Range is 0.77V to 2.2V peak2peak or something like that. TD3 need 2.5V  minimum trigger voltage. Presumably Korg Toys are made to sync with pseudo audio-sync signals  with low voltage. An Oscilliscop would confirm it.

No Idea for solderfree solution... , except you sync your app with a PC and use sync via midi.

The Quantize in ARP mode does not works on my MS-101.

It's supposed that holding the pattern button and turning the tempo knob it should change the quantize of the notes.

    Nothing happens.

Anyone with the same issue and the solution?

Have you updated the firmware recently?

It seems the latest updates for any thing that shares the sequencer such as MS-1/Crave/Odyssey have the same problem.

I can only speak for the Odyssey but I believe its the new implementation of passing midi clock to the midi out, if the clock division was still there it wouldn't output the correct tempo, I personally don't see that as a problem more as a feature. Bring back the clock division no one wants to be stuck with 16th note arps, also bring back Auto Select for midi tempo source, I want it to sync to midi when it recieves it, but sometimes I don't want to turn on the DAW and the 2 synths daisy chained before the Odyssey just to play the arp.

Yes, and it's the same for the sequencer.

I don't like the change at all. I used to be able to have 1/8th note sequences which was ideal and this no longer possible.

Any chance to fix it Behringer?

synth tool 2.3.3 win , just released, has the same issue, no device detected. software is not userfirendly that way. other manufactures' controlling software are able to conect to their devices with midi without disabling other mido devices /drivers . you should do the same Behringer

I must say that it works *much* better than other manufacturer software...

I have a bunch of drivers/stuff installed and Synthtool always works.

      Maybe check your cable?

    Hey,

I've managed to get my Poly D Synced to my Daw's (reaper) midi clock. It was fairly easy even with very little documentation from Behringer. One issue I have though is that the Arpeggiator will only play 16th notes. Is that intended or is there some setting I should be able to tweak to set the arpeggiator rate (1/4, 8th, 16th, 8T, 1/4D, etc). Surely it isn't hard set to 16th notes?

    Thanks in advance

I discovered that on the Crave, you can switch the sequencer instantly to play in the reverse direction by pressing Shift+Play. I find this immensely useful, but there's a catch: in order to play in forward direction again, you have to press Play twice (one to stop, one to restart), inevitably causing a pause in playback between those two keypresses. My suggestion: program Shift+Play to flip the direction of the sequence (rather than enforcing reverse direction). If the sequencer is playing in reverse and you push Shift+Play, it should immediately start playing forward (which it currently doesn't, the keypress effectively does nothing). I'm looking forward to this in the next firmware release, it shouldn't be too hard I guess...

I noticed this too on my Odyssey. I watched a lot of YouTube videos about using their onboard sequencers and there's little to no mention of the Reverse function pressing Shift+Play, and there's nothing about it in the manual. Hopefully this Reverse>Forward(using Shift+Play) option will be implemented on next firmware AND to include more playback options other than Forward & Reverse. If anyone(Especially Behringer Engineers) knows of a way that we don't know to do Reverse>Forward, please post a comment, or video on the YT.

    Hi,

Received the synth this week and have firmware 1.1.0-23f. I noticed after a google search there is a 1.1.2 firmware.

How do i get this and perform the update?

There is also a second issue with the Deepmind App 1.05 on PC, I can see the D12 in the Input and Output devices but it will not connect even after pressing Resync. Device ID is set to 1

MIDI comms over USB and standard Midi connections via Mio2 interface seem fine with playing from a keyboard.

Not sure if you have updated, but go to Behringer.com -> downloads-> select Deepmind12d ->dL the firmware info file and follow the directions.

I did manage to get the firmware updated after googling for it, but I've sent the synth back now to thomann for a refund as the outputs where too noisy. I'll get another maybe in the future as it is a lovely synth, but I've ordered a Hydrasynth now.
