    Dear Homies,

    windows 7 64bit TI firewire konnekt48:

    which TC Near version won't crash? I've tried 2.4, 2.5, 3.5., 3.6..

    Is it the 32bit/64bit hoohaa?

    about to try it with windows 10 installation and macosx sierra in virtual box... just to re-route the outputs... I get input signal atm. But no phones, mains, or channel outs.

    Put in a tech claim and heard nothing.  This begringer tech support is crap. 

    anyway, does anyone know if there is a factory reset procedure on the xtouch one.   I just got a new one and the display times/measures/etc is frozen and does not count with the session in play. 

    also some of the button lights stay on even when not engaged.  

    firmware is updated and the daw is correct. 

    Any help?

      It's very possible the DAW is the problem and every DAW has different MCU/MIDI implementation. What DAW?

      Logic is my DAW.  I have logic selected on the controller and it's selected within the daw.  Everything works as should except display numbers and the button lights.  Is there a factory reset on xtouch one? Thanks

      Logic has great MC implementation. Have you done Logic Pro X: Control Surfaces : Rebuild Defaults ? Or Deleted the X-Touch's Icon?


      The only way I found to reset my X-touch is to Power Off/Power On or reinstall the firmware. It's usually Logic that gets confused. That being said, my X-Touch (not the One) had a bad ethernet port. Back then Behringer's customer support was good and I had a new one in a few days. These days, however, I'd seriously consider taking it back to Guitar Center and exchange it.

    I am new here - just bought X32 Producer from Behringer - I can not find a software for recording as well as app for both types of phone remote control

    Unfortunately, I have not succeeded to create support ticket as information given were not recognised or something similar - if somebody from support sees this message, please help.

      Welcome to the forum. Many of us here use Reaper as our DAW. If you are using Windows, you will need to install the appropriate ASIO drivers (depending on which card you have in the Producer).


       


      For mixing app (for phones and tablets), many of us use Mixing Station.

    It seems that if TC Electronic won't update their TC Near software, all users of Konnekt (and Impact Twin) audio interfaces are out of luck and won't be able to use their hardware with the upcoming version of macOS. If I'm not mistaken, macOS Catalina will support only 64-bit apps - and TC Near Control Panel is 32-bit

    Is there any chance TC Electronic will update TC Near to support for 64-bit only operating systems? It would be a shame to have all those killer audio interfaces bricked...

      I agree. but it seems they are not involved in this forum at all. 


      I think it's more for users, cause if you check most posts don't even get replies, sometimes if ure lucky a user will help you out but Tc's staff have not seen em around.

      I own a Studio Konnekt 48 and I really love that interface. It is perfect for my recording needs, sounds great and has reasonable latencies. 


      It is a real shame, that TC Electronics don't support this fairly new product. In a time where everybody's talking about the environment and saving resources, it just doesn't seem right that I have to throw away a perfectly good (great actually...) audio interface, just because I wish to upgrade the software on my Mac. 


      Next time I buy an audio product I guess I will spend some time checking out the "end of life" policies of the manufaturer. The software support should last at least as long as the life expectancy of the hardware product.


      I always thought of TC Electronics as a serious and trustworthy manufacturer, but this time you have really let me down...

      I have the same problem, luckily I was the Beta tester of Catalina and could be able to turn back to previous version. I can not use Catalina just because of this hardware and it is not acceptable.


      TC please answer us with a solution.

    I just purchase the Clarity M meter and hooked it up to my iMac Pro running Avid Comoser 2019 (OS X 10.13.6).  

    I installed the plugin and hooked it up via USB.  But whenever I play, instead of seeing streo meters, it just says "offline mode" and doesn't allow me to press any button other than "reset" which stops it from doing anything.

      To add to my comment, on the left side I see the "radar" which shows a single level around the circle, but on the right, where the main stereo meters are it says "offline mode / processing".  Additionally the "Mono Deviation" is off on the left side, even though the signal is often literally mono tracks without any panning.

      Yes, I am in "plugin mode".  The Meter is receiving signal.   But the only thing that really works is the left hand "radar" meter.  The right side shows some information "progam LUFS", etc., but any meters just disappear and dispaly "offline mode".


      From the moment I play signal, the meter says "offline mode" and won't allow me to change anything.  I can't change the view to the other pages on the left side, or do anything at alll. I am only offered "cancel" as an option at which point the meter resets and there is no signal until I stop playing and start again, at which point it repeats.

      I've now replicated Your setup and see the issue - strange as Avid Media Composer uses the same plug-in format (AAX) ass Pro Tools and there are no issues in that application. We will investigate further!


      As a temporary solution You could try the digital input.

    This is ridiculous.  I cannot create a support ticket because your "care ticket" page is malfunctioning.  It won't allow me to submit a from unless i fill out whether I am a "Mr./Mrs/Ms", BUT that portion of the form is broken.

    I also CANNOT REGISTER my product on your site for the same reason.

    This is the most ridiculous site I have ever used.

    No new drivers For Konnekt is not good business, here’s why….

    I have a TC Electronic Konnekt6. It has been a good workhorse for a number of years. I have recently upgraded my iMac and have found that old drivers aren’t suitable for the new OS, they haven’t been updated. The tribe has decided not support these older units, basically rendering my interface useless. I have strong feelings about this and would like to express them here. (Not that anyone from the ‘tribe’ will really care).
    I’m trying to understand this cynical decision to no longer support older units, there is no practical or technical reason, updating the drivers to 64 bit would be a simple task, they could even charge a small fee that I’m sure most would happily pay, but no, no new drivers, in the bin with your perfectly functioning units and off to the shops to buy a new one. A poor decision on so many levels! This toxic, ‘sales at any cost’ mentality can only be described as short sighted at best, cynical and highly corrupt at worst. To treat your loyal customers in this fashion has surely begun a slippery slope to the bottom. I will be telling as many people as I can about this and will go out of my way to have people understand what has happened. If you buy a product from these people, not too far down the line THEY WILL SHAFT YOU!
